Where do you get your rescues from?
Many of our rescues come to us from dangerous or unsafe situations and conditions, Those include animals set for or at risk for slaughter.
Often people will contact us with information regarding an animal needing rescue or we see animals who need our help.
There have been times where an owner has an injured animal and they can’t provide for them, so they contact us to see if we can take the animal in and provide the necessary care.
Other instances are re-homed animals. Their owners for whatever reason can no longer care for their animal and they want to make sure that they end up with a forever home.
We try to take in as many animals as we can while providing a standard of excellent care, We wish we could take in every animal, but the sad fact of it, is that we can only care for what our donations can cover. That being said, donations are always changing and if you need us to step in and take on an animal we will do our absolute best to take them in.
What do the donations cover?
Your donations cover every aspect of MVS. Including but not limited to: hay, feed, bedding, supplements, minerals, veterinary expenses, emergency care, rescue efforts, cleaning supplies, and the everyday operating expenses of MVS.
